Accommodation
Rosebay Cottage is a very comfortably furnished self catering cottage sleeping up to 6 people plus cot. It is surrounded by an enclosed garden making it a very private holiday location.
The downstairs comprises sun porch, fully fitted kitchen with open plan dining area and lounge. Upstairs comprises one double bedroom, one large bedroom with beds for 2 to 4 people and a bathroom. The cottage enjoys central heating for those cooler months and has wireless internet access.
For those with young children you will find essential items such as a stair gate, travel cot and portable high chair. As we have a much loved family dog ourselves, pets are welcome here and the enclosed garden ensures their safety.
Downstairs
KITCHEN: The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances including dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, gas hob and cooker and a large fridge and freezer. We have tried to include all essential cookware for your self catering needs.
DINING AREA: Open plan with the kitchen and living area, there is a large table with seating for 6.
LIVING ROOM: A bright, open plan area with doors opening onto a very sheltered, south-facing patio.
Enjoy the large comfortable sofas around the wood burning stove and make use of the selection of books and games supplied, or the flat screen digital LCD TV with selection of DVDs.
SUN PORCH: Added in June 2010, this characterful room provides a drying area for outdoor gear as well as a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the pretty garden if the patio isn't quite warm enough.
Upstairs
DOUBLE BEDROOM: With views of the garden and Findhorn Bay, this is a light and cosy room furnished with cast iron double bed and chest of drawers. There is ample hanging space in the large built in wardrobe and a wash hand basin.
LARGE BEDROOM: Fitted with twin beds that can be zipped together as a Superking size bed upon request. This is a large room which we have tried to keep cosy by having a sofa at one end which opens out as another very comfortable double bed if required. An ideal family room, with built in wardrobe and views over to the Moray Firth.
BATHROOM: With views to Findhorn Bay this is a bright room with bath and shower and a newly fitted heated towel rail.
Outside
Outdoor furniture is provided on the large sheltered patio for al fresco dining [weather permitting!] or just to relax and enjoy this tranquil spot. There is also a play house for children to explore.
Although the garden is inviting, a minute's stroll will take you to the water's edge where you can sit and watch the activity on Findhorn Bay against a background of breathtaking scenery or enjoy the ambience of the nearby pubs overlooking the sea.
There is a garage attached to the property for storage of your larger items, such as bicycles.
